Master of Social Sciences in International Relations (IR) from the University of Dhaka in 1997 with 2 nd class (6th position). 5. LLB (Honours) from the University of London in 2006 (2nd class). 6. Over 20 Years of Experience
A practicing lawyer in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and activist for human rights, rule of law, against corruption and terrorism. Having specialization in security and military matters, Law, and International affairs.
Military Career
Commissioned on 24 th June 1988 from Bangladesh Military Academy in Bangladesh Army in Infantry Regiment. Served in 4 different Infantry Battalions and Armed Forces Division (AFD), Prime Minister’s Office in Staff and Command appointments. Served in Chittagong Hill Tracts for counter insurgency operation for more than 4 (four) years and served as an UN peace keeper with military contingent in Iraq-Kuwait border. Retired voluntarily in January 2007.
